Scott Butler - VOX & Guitar

Scott is a singer and guitar player with more than 25 years of experience. He has played in several local bands and is a founding member of the Fat Chance band. Scott loves rock from the 1950s through today and has influenced the band's wide ranging choice of material. Scott can also be found playing and singing in other local band called the Tunematics and at providing lead guitar on most Sundays at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Veinna.

Andy Funt - VOX & Drums

Andy’s professional drumming experience hails back to the D.C. rock and roll scene of the 1970’s when Danny Gatton, the Nighthawks, and The Cherry People were dominating our market. His vast experience and in depth knowledge of where the music comes from solidly supports the wide range of styles found in the extensive Fat Chance play list. Andy is one of the founding members of the Fat Chance Band.

Howard Rabach - VOX & Bass

A highly trained, veteran musician, with more than 30 years of performance and studio experience, Howard is an in-demand bassist, deeply versed in many styles. Hailing from New York City, he arrived to the DC music scene in 1993. He has had unbelievable opportunities to tour and share stages with many talented artists, including The Grey A, Life Out of Balance, and The Smithereens, among others. He joined Fat Chance 2 years ago, eager to help them become a premier event band in the DC Metro region. He is currently endorsed by Gamma Custom Basses.

Mark Congdon - Keyboards

Mark came from Buffalo, NY in the late seventies to study Classical Piano at Shenandoah Conservatory of Music. After graduating, he pursued a professional music career in multiple bands with genres ranging from progressive and classic Rock, R&B, and Jazz. Opening for many national acts such as Mike Stern, Mark Isham, and Natalie Cole, Mark continued to perform and record in the DC metropolitan area until1995. After taking a 21 year hiatus to help raise the family, Mark is back with a vengeance to join the Fat Chance Band. Since starting his first band forty-four years age twelve, he said "I've never worked with a nicer group of guys!

Michael Bronson - VOX & Lead Guitar

Michael is a versatile guitarist with more than three decades of playing experience to his credit. He brings a variety of musical influences to the Fat Chance band, incorporating blues, classic rock, jazz, progressive/alternative, funk, and country styles into his playing. Michael is also a member and composer in the Richard Walton Group, a jam band in the Baltimore area, and was a founding member of Learn Again Sunday, an all-original progressive rock band in the 1990’s. He continues serving up his bass skills via Work In Progress, a band grown from his faith community at Vienna Presbyterian Church.
